Getting around from the Ōamaru Train Station
- The train will arrive at the Ōamaru train station, which is a 10-minute walk from the Victorian Precinct.
- Sometimes there is a bus available between the station and Ōamaru's town centre for a small fee.
Seating and Group Bookings
- Seating is General Admission but carriages may be allocated to improve your boarding/disembarking experience.
- If you are in a group, we recommend arriving early to find preferred seating together.
- Private carriages may be available on request if you have a group of 30+ passengers.

- If traveling one-way from Ōamaru, please contact our team at least 72 hours before your trip departs. If travelling one-way from Dunedin, please inform our team during check-in.
- We have limited space onboard. If you wish to travel with a bike or other large items, please contact our team to request storage space before making a booking and at least 72 hours before your preferred train trip begins.
