Onboard Services Lead
Dunedin Railways – Fixed-Term (July 2025 – April 2026)
Do you thrive in a dynamic, people-focused role where every day is different? Are you ready to swap the office chair for a railway carriage?
We’re looking for passionate, practical, customer-loving legends to help bring our journeys to life. You’ll be right in the action — solving problems on the fly, leading the onboard team, keeping passengers safe, and delivering the kind of experiences that make people say, “That was the best part of our trip.”

You’ll be the calm in the chaos and the friendly face people remember.
You’ll also support the operational side of our train movements as a Locomotive Assistant, working alongside the driver to help safely get the train from point A to B. This includes tasks like shunting, signalling, and hands-on coordination to keep everything running smoothly.
